The Island of Ireland is the westernmost island in Europe and is separate from Great Britain from the Irish Sea and the channel of St. George.
The coasts have a development of about 3000 km and their conformation stems from a phenomenon of raising the sea level rise following its first glaciation.
The center consists of a plain dotted with lakes and low waves.
Facing the ocean, Ireland is exposed to humid westerly winds and therefore the climate is characterized by a significant rainfall not so much for quantity but for distribution during the year.
Thanks to the contributions the EU and a liberal economic policy centred on labour market flexibility and choices on tax and regulatory favourable to foreign companies and investment Ireland has experienced an extraordinary development, meritandosi the nickname "Celtic tigre"
